One studio, one licensed agent, one brokerage.

This website is operated by Soho Interior Design legal entity name exactly as it should appear, an interior design studio at 2431 Aloma Avenue, #124, Winter Park, FL 32792, owned and run by Carmen Dick.

Carmen's real estate services are provided as a licensed Florida real estate agent affiliated with brokerage legal name and license identifiers, as they must be written. Design services and real estate services are separate engagements, even when the same house is involved.

Design work — and representation — starts with a signature.

Sending the contact form, subscribing, commenting, emailing, texting or having a first conversation with Carmen does not create a design agreement, an agency or brokerage relationship, or any other professional relationship.

Design. Interior design, specification and staging services begin when you and Soho sign a written design agreement that sets out scope, fees and schedule.

Real estate. Representation begins only when the written agreement and the brokerage-relationship disclosures Florida requires have been provided and signed. confirm the exact FREC brokerage-relationship disclosure wording and the moment it must be delivered, with the broker and counsel

Until then, treat anything discussed as a helpful conversation, not an engagement.

The blog posts, before-and-afters, staging tips and service descriptions here are general information drawn from more than twenty years of designing Florida interiors. Every house is different: dimensions, code, permits, HOA rules, structure and product availability all vary, and so do the answers.

Nothing on this site is a design plan, a construction document, an appraisal, or legal, engineering or financial advice. Before you spend money, get a plan drawn for your actual house.

We describe what we control — the process, the communication and the dates we commit to in your agreement. We don't promise a sale price, a time on market, an appraised value or a return on any improvement, and you shouldn't read anything here as promising one.

Look, share a link, send a page to your contractor: all welcome. Republishing images, selling them, using them to promote another business or feeding them into another product or service requires our written permission.

Drawings, specifications and schedules prepared for a client are governed by that client's design agreement, not by these Terms.

Send us your kitchen. Not someone else's copyrighted kitchen.

When you send a message, comment, photograph or plan, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you allow us to use it to answer you and to carry out the work.

Forms. Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, so using them is also subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms of service.

Blog comments are moderated and we may edit or remove anything. While using this site, please don't: break the law, send spam or unsolicited advertising, submit false information or impersonate anyone, interfere with the site's operation or security, or scrape or copy the site's content in bulk.

Opt in, opt out, both on your terms.

Email and text-message consent, opt-out and rates are described in the Privacy Policy, item 04. Consent to texts is never required to work with us, and STOP always works.

Their site, their rules.

This site links to the brokerage, to vendors and suppliers, to social accounts and to review platforms. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices. Read theirs when you get there.

This item covers the website. Your project is covered by your agreement.

To the maximum extent Florida law allows, Soho Interior Design is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website, your inability to use it, or your reliance on the general information published here.
