A former client asked me to help with the design aspects of the renovation of her Sears Kit home, and I jumped at the chance. I was already familiar with her home from a previous project, and eager to help breathe new life into her charming historic bungalow.
I designed how the new and existing spaces would flow and function together, and supervised the renovation, along with doing the final interior design work.
The renovation added 1200 square feet to the home and included a large beautiful kitchen, a new master bedroom, bathroom, powder room, and a laundry room. The dining room was part of the original home layout, and the transition between the new and old sections joined the kitchen with the dining room via a small passageway, or “butler’s pantry”.
